To ascertain which parts of our website interest visitors most, we use third-party software to keep constant track of how many visitors access our site and which elements are viewed most often.
The resulting data is used to generate statistics. Using this information, we can ensure that the website structure, navigation and content are as user-friendly as possible. Statistics and other reports are never traced back to individual users.
We use a Google Analytics cookie to:
- Keep track of the number of visitors to our web pages
- Keep track of the amount of time each visitor spends on our web pages
- Ascertain the sequence in which visitors visit various pages on our website
- Assess whether parts of our site need modification
- Optimise the website
According to the guidelines of the Dutch Data Protection Authority we have a Data Processing Agreement with Google and choose for a privacy-friendly setup for Google Analytics. To ensure that, the data sharing settings are turned off, we’re not using any other Google-services in combination with the Google Analytics-cookies and in addition to that, we choose to make the final octet of the IP-address invisible.
